I cannot believe I have not written a review for Gigi's Oriental Market yet. I am so grateful for this business. This is by far my favorite specialty market in the area. I am half Korean and moved to Lakeland around 10 years ago from an area with a much larger Korean population. When I first came here I was not aware that there was a Korean market in the area, so I was depressingly buying grocery store kimchi, which is awful, or traveling hours away in order to find something authentic. I am so happy that I ended up discovering this market. At Gigi's I can always count on a full fridge of HOMEMADE kimchi/banchan. There is a wide variety always available. Her kimchi is absolutely delicious and my husband especially loves her kkakdugi. Banchan is not even close to the only things they have, but it is definitely the highlight for me. The store also boasts a huge variety of Korean pantry staples, fresh produce, K-snacks, meats/seafood, mandu, gim, noodles/ramyeon, desserts, drinks and cookware. I am so happy that whenever I am craving Korean food I can find everything I need here to complete a recipe without sacrificing quality or authenticity. The store is always clean and well sto

Very nice people! They have a variety of things i couldn't pick just one thing! There are some kpop idols on snacks and food, I grabbed all peperos of each skz member! And a pack of aespa shin ramyeon! The ice cream is yummy and enjoying. Its all pretty and organized, So many things to try definitely recommend

This market feels like taking a trip outside the USA! They offer an amazing selection of fresh oriental produce and groceries to make delicious homemade meals. You can find everything from mushrooms, rice papers, sushi rice, tamarind, and lychee drinks to teas, cookware, and so much more. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I also found natural hydrating face masks for only $1 each — such a great deal! If you buy five, you get one free, so I got six masks for about $5. Can’t wait to try them!

Absolutely loved exploring the market. So many unique finds here. The prices were exactly what we expected, and the selection was so large. The customer service was superb. We browsed the ramen selections. Picked up nori, sushi rice, ramen, ramun drinks, specialty chips.
